Watch this CNBC interview with JBbiz author Anil Gupta, professor of strategy at INSEAD and the University of Maryland. Dr. Gupta is the author of the forthcoming Jossey-Bass book, Global Strategies for Emerging Asia (in stores and available online this June).
A few of his predictions for Squawk Box Asia: US and Indian economies should do better in 2012 as compared to 2011, while Europe and China will struggle economically compared to last year. Jobs are coming back to the US (from Asia) – slowly the US is beginning to work its way out of trouble. On the global front, Europe is moving in the direction of a tighter eurozone integration, which will include a greater scrutiny of individual countries’ budgets – good for Europe, Gupta says, and good for the rest of the world.
